Hi All,
The next LDR is going to be AMAZING!! I have recently been to Lesotho, and I can honestly say Track days have NOTHING on the roads in that country. They are so twisty turny I think the longest straight is probably 1km long (no lies). This is actually one of the corners:
Our trip will include tours of both Katse Dam and Mohale Dam. It includes 3 dinners, all breakfasts and all accommodation.
Katse Dam:
- Tour inside dam wall
- Drive on top of dam wall
- 3 hour boat trip on the dam
Mohale Dam:
- Tour of Mohale Dam wall and outlets
- And in case you were wondering. That is a road up the dam wall. And yes you can drive up it ;-).
I tried to find the straightest road in Lesotho and this is the best I could come up with:

The price is 2200 per person sharing and 3300 per person single. This includes 4 nights’ accommodation, 4 breakfasts, 3 dinners, 1 boat trip and 2 dam tours.

On another note, there are no petrol stations in Lesotho. I have made the most driving between petrol stations 285km (could not make it any less). Please bring along a small extra fuel tank (jerry can) should your range not reach 285km.
