It is not about that; the parade is a tribute to Dave&#8217;s racing and achievements. Dave was multiple Autocross champion in the 70&#8217;s driving Mini&#8217;s, and for 2 decades was a stalwart of the TLR breakfast runs, long distance runs and mischief making.
